Mindful Design & Production Practices
30 years of designing for well-known brands and sourcing from near and far, Annemarie Furey launched Product Think Tank to offer beautifully crafted pieces that reflect her sewing and tailoring background and decades-long relationships with apparel makers.
We believe that who makes our clothing—and where it comes from—matters. Just as more people are mindful of their food choices, we aim to help educate and inspire more conscious decisions in fashion.

We make clothing that honors the diversity of bodies, shapes, and ways of being.
timeless
Our designs are meant to be worn again and again, across seasons and generations. They work especially well in a capsule wardrobe.
inclusive
Our shapes and colors can flatter a variety of people. We feature local models from teenagers through those in their 70’s, size XS – 2X, and a variety of backgrounds to show how varied our pieces can look.
Low Waste
Wherever possible, we use fully fashioned knitting—a technique where each panel is knit to size and then linked together. This method eliminates the waste created by traditional cut/sew production.
Our Ingredients
We source our fibers like a chef shops the market—selecting only what’s in season, what’s honest, what we believe in. These are the fibers we turn to again and again.
Merino Wool
Origin: USA, Australia
Soft, breathable, and renewable. We use pre-existing yarns to reduce energy use and waste.
Vermont Baby Alpaca
Origin: USA
Local, insulating, and naturally soft. A Northeast fiber we’re proud to use close to home.
Linen
Origin: India
Lightweight, breathable, and biodegradable. Ideal for layering and seasonal transitions.
Cashmere
Origin: India
Luxury level cashmere that feels like cashmere sweaters of yesteryear.
Cotton
Origin: India
Soft and breathable with minimal processing. A classic fiber that wears well, washes easily, and biodegrades naturally.
Viscose
Origin: Sustainably managed forests
Our viscose is sourced from a supplier that plants more trees than they harvest—never from ancient or endangered forests.

At Product Think Tank, we are a body of makers and thinkers—creating with an awareness of the political, environmental, and economic impact of every sourcing decision.
Sourcing Democracy
We intentionally source from small- to mid-sized, family-owned producers in countries where workers have a voice—both at work and at home.
By choosing where and how we produce, we help finance supply chains and governments that support the rights, creativity, and talents of individuals.
